What kind of temps are you experiencing in Everett? It might be too cold still. I live in Massachusetts, and we had a low Wednesday night of 38 degrees.

This is what we have some tomatoes, some peppers and some seeds in, beginning last night. Most of our plants are on the deck, which is 8 feet off the ground and has two tables with umbrellas. I was awake at 4AM early yesterday morning, terrified that we were going to lose everything.

As you can see, I have quite a bit of weeding to do.

Off and on 50s and 60s mostly, 40s at night. As I said, I think I’ll just go back to the Montana planting schedules. In the meantime I planted more lettuce. I’m experimenting with some red lettuce. I’ve always used black seed Simpson before. A couple of zucchinis are coming up. Since I had never planted them before I wasnt sure what the little ones look like but now I know.
I cleaned out a wheelbarrow full of morning glory on Memorial Day. Maybe I mentioned that already. And I’ve also used a bunch of the common area rhubarb. There’s also a common area herb garden which came in handy over Thanksgiving and Christmas. Some things do grow year round here and of course there’s little or no snow.
