YEP! RAIN! I LUV IT!

My neighbors pond is overflowing, my duck pond is overflowing (even though I was letting the water evaporate so I could clean some muck out of it.), we even have runoff in the bottom part of the property.
Unfortunately, I had to dig my greenhouse door out to get it open. All the runoff swept leaves and mud in front of the door.

I don't expect a major change in the lake bed, but I'll it head down in a bit to check out. It's funny how the river can be running in Bandera, down to south of English Crossing, then goes underground until it's near the dam.

How is it in your neck of the woods? You're on prime watershed and aquifer recharge zone.

It's all good. two rain barrels, and a kiddie pool, then I ran out of things to put rain in. Wish I had one of those expensive catchment systems that someone else did the work on!

Some of the bridges, and low water crossings here in town were barricaded when I went across town to my Mom's. Had to take a circuitous route. A freeper who lives a few blocks from me said he has water over the dam behind his house. I don't think there's been water over that dam in almost a year.
