My mostly Scot descended husband had a torque converter bounce off of his head when he was in his 20's. He still has the dent, but didn't even phase him otherwise.

About 15 (or so) years ago I had both feet go straight out from under me in an icy parking lot and went straight back on my head.
Cracked my skull but good.
Blood everywhere.
Have a palpable dent there to this day.
Never lost consciousness, got myself up and drove home.
The wife did let out quite a scream when she saw me though. She’s not the screaming type.
That’s not the first time either. Motorcycle accident in ‘69 cracked the helmet completely in half.
Yup. Dad was a Scot. I’m first generation American.
