Yesterday, the video of a heroic cat saving a boy from a vicious dog attack went viral. Today the family is speaking out about their furry friend,

A better question is what has the owner of the dog done to it. The fact that it's out shows they are at the very least negligent.
I’ve had two cats in my life. Both adopted but considered unadoptable. Both became very protective of me, one to the point it would snarl and hiss at any boyfriends I might have.
It’s like they were saying its my human I won’t share.
My heart broke when both went to the Rainbow Bridge.
I’m hoping Ceiling Cat will bring a new cat into my life in a few months.
I have never yet seen any plan which has not been mended by the observations of those who were much inferior in understanding to the person who took the lead in the business.

Well gee whiz, thanks for enlightening us with your wisdom and giving us your blessing to enjoy our fantasy.
Are you kidding?!!! There are THOUSANDS waiting to be adopted. But I know you are probably referring to an unworkable situation in your living arrangements.
Good luck, and Godspeed with your new catlationship!
B.S. You are just the victim of Saturday morning cartoon caricatures.
I think he just thinks he’s smarter than everyone else. A lot of that around here lately.
The kid would never had been attacked. The dog would have sensed my presence and dropped dead in fear.
She did not run away she chased the dog.as a matter a fact she was bitten by the do..
I’ll bet that dude just bores the crap out of his wife and relatives at all the family gatherings. They probably just nod and smile and nod and smile. :)
I hate you.
Lol - EXACTLY. “Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica”.
Hmmm...they have quite a bit in common with sodomites, although it is usually a pillow that gets bit.
I’m sure the list just goes on and on. And on and on and on.
The cat acted, not out of any personal motivations, but out of motivation for the betterment of the group.
THIS IS A COMMUNIST CAT.
Oh it is clear there was something not right with that dog or the situation. We have owned many dogs over the years and have close family that breed bull mastiffs. Every once in a while a born âbadâ dog comes along. They are put down at the first sign of aggression to humans around here. I have had to put one down. From a pup on it would not take any discipline action -even verbal with out lashing out. In this case the dog spotted the kid looking under the car and made a bee line for him. Odd.
I was walking my dog once and a family I knew was walking up the street and their cat was walking with them. The cat came around and positioned herself between me and the family still walking. She watched us and it was very apparent we would have to get thru her to get to them. Very impressed at the time.
Love ya, Laz; but I’m not letting that go unchallenged. Dogs hunt in packs (commie b*stards), cats are independent, self-sufficient and get the job done by themselves (conservatives).
Boring? A dude who knows with certainty the inner workings of all animals’ minds? What could possibly be more fascinating. He’d probably go on for a good twenty minutes about what turns on gerbils...
