So how come someone was in a position to catch the dog on camera BEFORE the attack? Surveillance cameras everywhere?

And the dog grabbed only the leg very briefly in the video; there was no evidence in the video on bites to the stomach area as displayed in the after images.

The cat chasing the dog off was convincing, but I think the whole thing was a setup. I suspect that the cat-chasing-the-dog-off routine is a regular occurrence in that neighborhood.

I saw the kid’s open wounds on his leg—it looked like ground meat. The dog was just about to violently shake the boy’s leg in his mouth and that’s when the cat showed up.

I’m wondering why the dog attacked the little boy. Had he been provoked? There may be a history here.

I have 6 HD cameras on my property and heck, I live in a manned and gated community. They record 24/7 with about 3 months retention on my 12 TB Synology NAS. I can't imagine everyone not having at least a few at home these days.
