Bought any milk lately? Half a gallon costs more now than a gallon cost just a few months ago.

Exactly..... Even powdered milk is expensive

$4.45 a gallon here in Central Florida. It was $1.99 a gallon just before BHO took office.

Ground beef at BJs $3.99 a pound (3% fat) two weeks ago. Alaskan codfish filets 13.00/ lb today at Winn Dixie.

Must be a matter of regional dairy markets. Here, in SE Washington State, no change in milk prices or only a dime or two depending on the brand. Other things in supermarkets have certainly gone up, though. I also notice the “out of stock” situation occurring more frequently; not sure why. Is production limited due to higher input costs or the product is going somewhere else or distribution problems or what?
