I dont care for the NFLs stance, but this has nothing to do with free speech. The play is free to say what he wants. His employer is free to hold the player accountable. Oh I'm sorry, was he using a Dolphin's computer and Internet connection while he was playing a game for them? This has everything to do with free speech.

Then you clearly don’t understand the concept. I am free to post anything I want on social media. My employer has notified me that they follow social media. If I post something objectionable, I am free to be held accountable.
