Okay, say he goes to the Gulag. What if he says the experience only strengthened his deeply held religious views?

“This has everything to do with free speech.”
Then you clearly don’t understand the concept. I am free to post anything I want on social media. My employer has notified me that they follow social media. If I post something objectionable, I am free to be held accountable.

The new American fascism. The government doesn’t even bother to do the enforcing. Corporations, colleges and such are eager to take on he job.

“and were free to condemn the NFL for their hypocrisy.”
Absolutely! We can condemn them, or boycott the NFL. Freedom doesn’t mean freedom from accountability.

ONLY if it is so stated in your employment contract.

Are you now, or have you ever been a member of an anti-gay hate group? Read The Turner Diaries. It is controversial and disgusting to some but it reads like it could have been written yesterday with regard to this "hate speech" meme.

note the propaganda using “openly gay”, that is to imply that all the nfl were closed homosexuals.

Dolphins fine and suspend player for tweeting negative comment about Michael Sam The swift reaction by the Dolphins makes me suspicious that the league planned and conspired the whole scenario for drafting Sam.

I understand the concept. The legacy media and large corporations are acting as agents of the government to stop free speech. It’s more than this one incident, too. I can understand action for opposing Sam being drafted, but this was a reaction to that disgusting kiss.

Be careful what you think the thought police are everywhere. Soon there will be mandatory re-education camps to help you think properly.

I’ve noticed that some of the pinheads in the “media” have now begun adding a hyphen to “openly gay”. I guess they are trying to make it look official or something.

I’m not sure tweeting that you find public personal displays of affection offensive (which is all he did - he didn’t mention anything about teh gay aspect) would be a violation of his player contract. The union should go to bat for him here.
To: kingattax
I wish every player would express outrage. Are they going to suspend every player? Accepting a gay being allowed a job is one thing. But now they are expecting players to accept homo behavior itself. There is a big difference.

I quit watching football after the Limbaugh treatment. Have to admit, I got used to it a LOT more quickly than I’d have anticipated.

NFL players make millions. Do you think maybe there are some stipulations about social media and public displays?
