I thought Jeff Fischer was smarter then that. Why would he take a chance on a major distraction who probably won’t help his team on the field?
What makes you think it was his call? I suspect the NFL made the Rams, "an offer they couldn't refuse."
I doubt he had a say in the matter. This was between the owner and the commissioner. No coach, GM or any other football man wanted any part of this rainbow mafia sideshow.
