Also, one that I have found useful in life:

The single most-used movie quote on FR, whether written or simply in a photo meme.

That one quote likely makes Casablanca the most-quoted film of all-time on FR. The only possible competitor is Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

I didn’t feel like listing the Top 100. I felt as if FR could better digest 50 in a thread, with my note to take a look at the other #51-#100 before giving up on a favorite quote.

I didn't post the AFI article, so I didn't name the thread the Top 100 Movie Quotes. There's more information at the article. I assumed that more FReepers would be willing to go through a Top 50 list and a Top 100 list.

That why my initial post #1 said "Check the link for quotes #51-#100 to see if your favorite is included."

Thanks, yes I’m one of the many who didn’t read 51-100. Still, “Show me the money” shouldn’t be that high on the list...in fact it woudn’t make my list at all.

Sorry,

Any list that doesn’t have the FIRST quote from a movie is not a list. Doesn’t have to be first.

The thing about Breaking Bad that has bothered me is that meth use has been seen in a positive light. At least in the first season or two. I couldn’t watch the rest. Meth is a drug that is so addicting that it has a terrible recidivism rate (93%), and I have a very dear friend whose son’s life has been turned upside down because of it. We don’t know how much longer we’ll have him on this side of the grave. It’s very hard to watch the destruction so close. He was once a wonderful kind young man. His family is torn apart and devastated. I really feel that BB had something to do with his trying it in the first place.
