I worked a project for Resolute Island in Nunavut.

Amazingly that place is a tourist destination (okay, not for many).

When you are too far north for the Tundra to grow, you have gone too far.

Even the Inuit part of me hates the cold. So now I live in Florida!

My Beloved Daddy taught me Arctic Survival Skills though. It will help me in the coming ice Age! :-)

I did a mars society project on devon island in 2000. Winds kept us in resolute for a week. I put my American flag on the patio of the quonset hut hotel and the team celebrated the 4th of july drinking scotch and smoking cigars. Warm in the sun with just a single layer of clothes.

You may have noticed Alert on that map, on the north end of Ellesmere Island. I believe that is the northern-most human settlement on the planet. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!
