How do you disable IE flash plug-in?

Go to the “Tools” menu (gear icon in the upper right corner) and select “Manage Add-Ins.” Right-click on “Shockwave Flash Object” and disable it.

At least, that is how it works on my version of IE.

Time would be better spent downloading Firefox or Chrome.

IE has been a leaky exploitable mess since the turn of the century. Slow as crap, too.

ALT-X then select (Manage Add-ons). From there you can (disable) Flash
from the (Toolbars and Extensions) tab.
