He didn't this time, from what I can see. He called for EMT, and they sent the Police. "Policy." They do that here, too. You want an ambulance, the cops show up. Then you get to deal with their bullshit on top of whatever you needed the ambulance for. My wife needed an ambulance once, and she had to get roughed up by a bullnecked cop before she would get transport.
They really are bastards. It's gotten to where I don't care what bad things happen to them.
