What is it with the Mentalist show two weeks in a row targeting Texas? Anyone else notice this? Last week it was the death penalty and this week it's an all male country club, also sprinkling in lesbianism. CBS
Psych is gone? I liked that show too. A lot of clever writing and the actors were good.
Yes, gone. So unhappy about that.
They had an hour special after the last episode that included all the cast, the writers, etc. They were all happy saying “we did it!”....meaning they lasted 8 seasons.
I couldn’t figure out why they were cancelled however - despite looking and looking for an explanation. I loved Gus, Sean, Lassie, Jewels...so fun.
Me too, as well as Saffron Burrows with him.
oh yeah!
Agreed.
As opposed to "Alcatraz," which died a sudden death. Probably deserved, but I liked it.
Only to a liberal like you is Survivor “wholesome”, much less CBS, which also airs “Two Broke Girls” and their 7th grade nothing-but-sexual-innuendos.
Toad,
Survivor is better than the filth you watch on ABC Scandal has been said by you to be your favorite show. Now that is trash. I will take Survivor over your crappy shows anyday.
Noah is not a Christian movie
Say you. Ask anybody off the street and they will say otherwise. You can shout all day long but it does not matter. It will be classified as a religious Christian film for the rest of your life. You opinion on this means nothing. Sorry!
You're correct that personal opinion doesn't classify "Noah" as a Christian movie, or not. Facts do that. Is it in line with the Bible? Nope. THAT is what prevents it from being a Christian movie.
Noah trying to murder his family...the green angle...and, please...rock monsters. ROCK MONSTERS? They left out Abraham Lincoln and Colonel Green.
You’re enjoying “Mad Men”, then? I’m surprising myself by sort of regretting I never watched it. Is it good storytelling?
was Nessie following the Ark?
I understand what FREEPERS want and think, but that is not reality of what is going to happen.
I grew up in the 1960s but was too young to really remember them. Don Draper reminds me of how my father was when I was growing up. A man of mystery who I hardly saw because he worked so many hours at the office. He was always in a sharp suit and even on weekends, he dressed in slacks, dress shoes and a dress shirt. I don't think I ever saw him in a pair of jeans. I remember going to his office a few times when I was a child and it was a lot like how Mad Men depicted it. Secretaries clacking away on typewriters, phones ringing, cigarette smoke everywhere, and yes, the men would occasionally break out the whiskey behind closed doors. My father kept a bottle (or two) in his desk drawer.
I could do without certain aspects of the show, especially all the fornicating that is going on (much of it is gratuitous and doesn't add to the storyline), but overall, the show is very well done. If you are going to check it out, start from the beginning and watch the shows in sequential order. If you start in the middle, much of it won't make sense to you as the story arcs cover multiple shows - even over multiple seasons.
LOL
Might as well have been.
Thank you. I might do that; I would definitely start from the first season. I hate having to try and figure out what’s going on because I’ve missed something.
I was born in ‘63. My real memories begin around ‘68, when things were well on their way to hell. The early-mid ‘60s are fascinating to me.
weird! but i guess it is an accomplishment if they lasted 8 seasons....in the television world. i’ll have to see if i can buy some episodes of the show online. i never really saw the earlier shows. the other show i like that has recently surfaced is Leverage. that is also very clever. but who knows how that will fare. seems like the crap is the stuff that lasts. sad!
No, not Lisbon. It was the girl whose murder they were trying to solve.
Like I said, doesn't matter what anyone thinks. Biblical standard is what it is.
" but that is not reality of what is going to happen."
Which illustrates how many folks don't know anything about the Bible, and are vulnerable to deception. Sad, isn't it.
OK, good. Thanks. Reason I asked was I saw a show last season, maybe the one before that, where it was inferred that Lisbon might have an interest in such. Hope not. I like her character.
As for “him”, I wish they would “man up” Jane’s character. He is too much of a wimp.
I like Leverage too - I think it’s just syndicated now on ION channel - at least where I live. You can get Psyche on Netflix - maybe Leverage also.
