Actually, she killed him by choking him out. So (technically) she did kill him without a weapon.
She bashed him on the head a bunch of times before with a hammer. She used a club to get him to the point of weakness where she could do that.
Can we then say someone shoots someone and wounds them, then choked them to finish them off, and say only “she killed him with her bare hands”?
