AUGUSTA, Ga. Big-driving Bubba Watson captured his second Masters title in three years on Sunday, pulling away from Jordan Spieth on the back nine for a three-stroke victory at Augusta National.
The 35-year-old American fired a three-under par 69 Sunday to finish 72 holes on eight-under 288 and take his second major title, the top prize of $1.62 million from a record $9 million purse and another green jacket.
I never loved green so much, Watson said. After giving away that jacket last year, I wanted it back.

In 2010 there were 24.2 million golfers in the auS. So according to your genius mind they are all rich. You have to be a closet lib.....
I agree about the boring part, but that’s just me. Several of my family and friends love the game and I respect that. It’s what they enjoy.
I don’t expect them to enjoy digging in the dirt with my gardening love.
To each his own. BTW, none of us are rich.
And I don’t really watch TV so it doesn’t even blip on my radar. There are a lot more serious things going on than to concern yourself about golf on the tube.
Let me re-word my statement:
Golfers have a very high average income. For that reason, TV networks make decent money showing golf, despite total viewership.
Take your liberal whining over to Kos & DU. Piers Morgan is eager to wipe your tears.
Nevada, Bundy, Tyranny, Abuse & soon Mt. Carmel II (what most call Waco) the feds are going to kill over land/water/ grazing rights/fraud/corruption/etc
So what? Turn the channel.
