Yeah, it was the oil slick that got us in trouble. Funny how poor your judgement is when you’re a kid. Looking back it seems like we hesitated before we did it — so we had an inkling — but it was only a very brief hesitation.

I have to imagine that cardboard boxes are still being put to good use by kids. They have too much fun potential even with video games around.

My mom got very upset at me for something or another, and, towering over my 8 year old frame, said, "You son of a bitch."
