Not sure if undead Jughead will be any different.

In the spirit of the times, he should be accidentally killed by Jughead in an erotic-asphyxia episode.

Shouldn’t this be in Breaking? ;^)
Just another case of fixing something that’s not broken, I guess.

Shot for sport from a passing car like the Australian jogger in Oklahoma?

I guess I should have read the article. Didn’t realise there was a “AfterLife with Archie” series already out.

Good riddance.
Lots of supermarket check-outs will finally be able to free up space for better publications to read while waiting...not that this is saying much.
Like who still reads that?
To: SeekAndFind
This is probably a gimmick to stir up interest. I can’t think of any other reason to ‘off’ a character who is still popular today. I think I’ve heard of Superman or Batman ‘dying’ at least four times per Superhero, since I began reading those books around 1963. As Arnold would say, “Archie und hiss Vimen, Vill Be Bakk!”

While details of the characters impending death are scant.... ****Spoiler Alert!****
He will be beaten to death by his stepfather. Pretty obvious, isn't it?

Archie will be beaten to death by a gang of “teen” “youths” who were “just turning their lives around”, when he intercedes to protect a 15 year old victim of the knockout game, named Bjorn Larsen.

Finally.
Guess their inclusiveness of an openly homosexual character tanked their readership, so they now try shock to amp up readership.
It’ll turn out to be a dream or some such bs if readership rises enough.

Archie Comics recently discovered that Archie once supported personal responsibility. They had no choice.
