I'd invite you to go to places like the Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle, or the BIG Comic Con in San Diego, or go to any of the dozens of comic book conventions that happen every year in the US and overseas. Talk to the people who draw them, talk to the people who run the multi-million dollar businesses that produce them...and THEN ask that question.
Contrary to popular belief, comic book fans are not fat, smelly, socially-inept Obama voters that live in their parent's basements (although, granted, some are...).
I am not trying to berate or criticize...I just believe you'd be quite surprised at who still reads comic books.
Fair enough. And I know there are all kinds of genres of comic books....but I wonder how the older ones like Archie are doing, as opposed to some of the more modern ones.
