The cancer of government corruption at all levels has escalated and is now clearly widespread. Has the spreading corrosive cancer over the past several decades being treated?

No, the American People have it in their power to vote these bums out. Also, there's a Convention of States afoot to pass amendments to cut government and taxes. We're not yet at the point where we have to "kill" them. As I said, if at some time we have some kind of civil war, then that's another story.
