Do you know the variety ? Mamouth Melting Sugar Snap : snowpeas planted them , and then couldn't keep the kids out of the garden !
They ate them right out of the garden, bush type , needs no washing !!
Can make second planting in the fall .
Keep picking and they will continue to bear pods until summer , also excellent in stir fry !
Kids are now 28 -31 yrs old , and still remember hawking snow peas in the garden . LOL !!

Snow Peas came from seedsofchange.com; “Sugar Pod 2 Snow Pea” - totally organic. Thanks for the shade suggestions as well; I may go for the carrots and definitely some herbs.
