Speaking of, how would they explain the animals not attacking & killing each other?
Just a few months ago you asked those same questions and I answered them. I’ll do so again, but I doubt you’ll accept the answer any more than you did then.
Ever heard of God? You know, otherwise called the Almighty? The One who created the world and everything in it? I think He could probably manage those other problems. It’s possible that He provided food as He did for the Israelites in the wilderness, who knows.
I believe the Holy Spirit covered that boat and brought peace to everyone and every thing aboard it; otherwise there WOULD have been bloodshed. I think, too, that God’s power enabled Noah and His sons to build such an enormous vessel in the first place.
Not a physics problem; more the purview of theology.
Did they include in their calculations the additional thousands of pounds of waste & food?
The waste is easy: dump it overboard — not only this, but that would make the boat lighter over the course of the voyage as it would be expelling mass from the system.
As for the food, see Gen 6:21
"As for you, take for yourself some of all food which is edible, and gather it to yourself; and it shall be for food for you and for them."
So, if you're going to calculate using the given dimensions of construction-instructions, you cannot reject the instruction to carry foodstuffs, too. (There is no record of how much food that was.)
God brought the various animals to the ark and God protected each species he created while on the ark
suspended animation....God can do anything !!
Why couldn’t he have left the bugs off?
Exactly. The food need by most animals needs to be fresh. How did the food stay fresh? An elephant needs 42 gallons of fresh water, and 600 lbs of food a day. Put together all the animals, there is no way to carry that much fresh water or food.
Let’s not forget, someone has to feed the animals. Even if Noahs family slept in shifts so that someone could always be feeding them, they still managed to provide new food to 2,500 animals an hour meaning it took less than a second and a half to feed each one.
