I meant the captain acted on his own. He had personal and political problems to do this act. The co-pilot had no such reasons.

I got you and I concur. I don’t think the co-pilot had anything to do with it.

By “they” I meant whoever acted in league with the pilot Captain Shah — like the “mystery woman”, whoever called him just before the flight, and whoever would have driven the getaway boat.
