We are not sure how old he is. We got him at the SPCA 7 or 8 years ago. He was an adult when we brought him home.
I wanted a young kitten but Marissa insisted he was the one she wanted. He has been an excellent pet.

I hope and pray everything turns out OK...I would be very upset if my Lynn-dah went missing.

He spent yesterday sleeping in a storage shed. He finds someplace where he won’t be bothered. He had nothing to eat all day yesterday and this morning, he only ate a couple of small bites of canned cat food.
He really needs to see a doctor. Hope Marissa finds him.

Your opening is so beautiful, Amy and Lori.
Wildflower minibouquets from a field beside my daughter's house.
I will be here at my daughter's all week.

We are worried about him. Wish he would come ask to come in the house. :(

Wow ... these are so pretty, Meg. I wish I had them in a field close by.
I like what Lori did with the Larkspur. I should post the Pledge graphic that matches the opening. :)

Yeah!!
Mr Mittens came to the garage for water.
He has had a swollen cheek. I first though he may have been stung by a wasp. (We have lots of them). Whatever the thing on his cheek was, it has burst and drained.
He is now under the car so I’m going to call the vet to see if we can get him in this afternoon. I think they need to look at that area.
He did eat a little and drank lots of water. He may have a fever.
Thank you for the prayers for him.

Animals have amazing powers of recovery.
However, when they ARE under the weather, they seem so sad and pathetic, I have a real hard time dealing with it.
It sounds like Mr. Mittens got stung and had a bad reaction.
Same thing happened to me JUST before I got on a plane to Boston. Sitting in the same position for three hours as the thing swelled up on my leg and made me feel like I was in a Sauna.
Not Fun...poor little Kitteh!

Acts Of Kindness
April 22, 2014
Read: Acts 4:1-13
I was traveling with some men when we spotted a family stranded alongside the road. My friends immediately pulled over to help. They got the car running, talked with the father and mother of the family, and gave them some money for gasoline. When the mother thanked them over and over, they replied, Were glad to help out, and we do it in Jesus name. As we drove away, I thought how natural it was for these friends to help people in need and acknowledge the Lord as the source of their generosity.
Peter and John exhibited that same joyful generosity when they healed a lame man who was begging outside the temple in Jerusalem (Acts 3:1-10). This led to their arrest and appearance before the authorities who asked, By what power or by what name have you done this? Peter replied, If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man . . . let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole (Acts 4:7-10).
Kindness is a fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22) and a powerful context in which to genuinely speak to others about the Lord.
Lord, help me to love with both words and deeds,
To reach out to others and meet their needs;
Lord, burden my heart for those lost in sin,
With mercy and love that flows from within. Fitzhugh
One act of kindness may teach more about the love of God than many sermons.
