Best review of the movie I’ve read so far. It made me laugh. We seldom go to the movies for two reasons: First, we don’t want to support a Hollywood that is anti-every thing we believe. Second, and most importantly, if my husband doesn’t like a movie, he lets everyone know it, usually before it ends. I’m only slightly better. I hate to pay to be sitting in a dark room with strangers watch a bunch of crap on a screen.
Our church went through the book of Genesis last year. One thing that really struck me about the story of the flood is it’s been turned into a children’s story. In fact, millions of people died because they refused to hear the warning and turn from their wicked ways. There is so much pain and anguish just below the surface. Can you imagine having to hear the screams of those who suddenly realize that they are lost?
I never thought about it before, but maybe Noah was wracked with guilt and that’s why he felt the need to drink. Self-medication.
Yeah ... many people seldom get into the “meat” of the issue (forgive the pun here ...).
Here’s something from Ray Comfort that’s 100 times better, in terms of God’s true message there ...
