They tell you immediately by this that they aren’t to be taken seriously and the quality of their work will soon prove that.
I have stopped being surprised by the manner of dress and behavior of job applicants that come to interview at my company. I must have missed the memo that said that suits and shoes are optional, tattoos can be exposed and multiple piercings everywhere but the ears is acceptable. Oh, not to mention the lack of communication skills these days.
