Say, I hate to admit this, but one of my best pals is a ....gasp.... an ultra-left wing stand-up comic. The way we remain friends is that I never, I say NEVA, see him perform, watch his DVDs, or allow him to tell jokes in my presence. Anyway, I am MUCH funnier ... and cleaner.
I also have a kid in the business end of the movie business who claims MY views are killing HIS career. PS, I do not own slaves, or encourage others to do so, and am not always armed.

I come from a family of tv comedy writers - they have written for some very famous comedians and television shows. They utterly hate the vulgarity of modern-day comedy. One of them is about to retire - he’s had it. He’s told by studio heads that refraining from using filthy language in screenplays is “wimpy.”
