Please elaborate. I’m sure there are exceptions but my experience is that the majority of them are net assets to our country. Americans would be wise to emulate their work and study ethic.
It's unwise to stereotype any group, whether applying positive or negative attributes to them. I know many in my community who fulfill the positive stereotype and are brilliant, driven, and successful; they have doctorates and work at research institutions, while their kids go to Stanford. But there are also some Asians who are criminals, some who are not terribly bright, some who are not hard-working. There are Asian gangs in this country; I've encountered them in the suburbs of Washington DC. People in a particular ethnic group are not all alike.
