A police officer shot dead a beloved family dog and then called the killing 'awesome', the animal's family has claimed. Sarah Brown, from Ardmore, Oklahoma, said she is devastated after her beloved pit bull Cali was gunned down by officer Brice Woolley after it hopped over their garden fence last Wednesday. Other members of the community are now joining her as she calls for justice and demands the officer to be fired. Officers with the Ardmore Police Department said they had received several complaints about the dog acting aggressively and headed to the scene, arriving before animal control...[snip]...Brown, who did not witness the incident, added to KFOR: 'He turned back to the animal control officer and said, "Did you see the way her collar flew into the air when I blew her head off? That was awesome".' Woolley informed the animal control that he had shot the dog, adding: 'We'll just write in the report that she tried to attack you and others in the neighborhood', according to witnesses.

“Another one sided story. Playing on the emotions of dog lovers.”
Regardless of anything else, the cops supposed thrilled attitude is a clearly dangerous red flag. That is the mindset of a person eager to kill.
That dog didn’t look vicious at all
I think he is onto something
Making it abundantly clear: these dog shootings aren’t happening because police fear our dogs.
They, in increasing numbers *enjoy shooting our dogs*
Our pets are *sport* to these officers.
What happens when Fido or Rex or Fifi is no longer enough to satisfy their bloodlust?
Sad but true. When you allow the innocent to be abused and turn your back on their suffering, the abusers become more bold.
JBT Ping list
Note to self, support your local JBT’s, someone has to do the dirty jobs.
I couldn't help notice that you also have Alaska Wolf on your list. As you know, Wolf's account has been suspended, yet you keep notifying him of articles knowing he can't engage you in debate. That's cowardly. I suggest that you lobby for Wolf's account to be reinstated so that he can argue with you, get you hyper outraged so you can accuse him of being a troll, and give you the satisfaction to get his account suspended again.
I’m sorry. I must be using an old list, or I failed to save the change when I deleted you. I’ll fix it right now.
Wolfie did get reinstated, BTW.
He gets pinged for the same reason Willie Green gets pinged to rail travel threads, and Chet99 gets pinged to pit bull threads, in honor of good times...
Thank you.
I do not ignore facts like you choose to do.
pit bulls are bred for bloodsport. That’s it.
They’re not bred as companion dogs, or to go after vermin, or protect herds of livestock.
They do not have the temperment to be a family dog, and never will.
As far as insulting an entire group of people... You must be referring to the ones in this thread who insult the 90% of law enforcement because of the action(s) of a few right? Some people on here act like john murtha trashing the Marines in Haditha everytime an article about cops gets posted.
Reminds me of an exchange...
SARAH:’I was dreaming about dogs.’
REESE:’We used them to spot Terminators.’
Funny, that.
The shotgun didn’t kill her.
The animal officer had to end her suffering with a .22.
Incautiously rehearsing perjury.
I love dogs. that makes me sick to my stomach.
Me too.
Do you want someone like this cop in your neighborhood? His picture ought to be put on billboards and broadcast on the nightly news.
This cop should be banned from having a gun, at a bare minimum
I always wonder why PETA never seems to complain about incidents like these. God knows they climb all over conservatives.
