Hey Doctor...there is no head injury issue? That’s your statement? Did you play football? I did. 4 years HS, 2 years in College. Had to hang it up after my 2nd knee surgery. I was a fullback and linebacker. I lost count of how many concussions I suffered. One I particular had me seeing double for a day. I stayed in that game too.

My body is paying a huge price now at age 43 for those measly 7 years of playing and I didn’t come close to even sniffing the NFL. I have 3 sons and will not steer them toward football. Haven’t decided if I’ll forbid it yet.

I’m not advocating banning football as it is self-inflicted trauma. We volunteered to play. But to say there’s no head injury issue is just ignorant on your part.

The tone of your 2nd post was not nearly as insulting as your first, so I will reply civilly.

When I say there is “no issue,” I am not saying people do not hurt their heads playing football.

I AM saying (and Rush agrees 100% for what that is worth):
1. There is NOTHING new about these injuriesl.
2. They are probably not as bad as they were in, say 1940, or 1928, or 1961.
3. The injuries have been discovered by a liberal media out to destroy football for reasons already noted.
4. There are a LOT of welfare begging former players who see a grand opportunity to score more welfare dollars from the rich white man.
5. The courts have NO place in this discussion.
