Thanks for the suggestion. But when I tried to unstall IE8 from the Add/Remove list, I got a message that says a file must be located for “Windows NT Service Pack Uninstall Directory’ (whatever that is). It will not let me continue with the IE8 uninstall.
DId you actually reboot the computer? Installation isn’t complete until you reboot.
