OK, I know everyone has their own theories as to the motivations behind the missing 777. Let's put them in one place, give us your top 3.
Here's mine.
1. Tom Clancy/Executive Orders scenario. Plane will be used later as a WMD to take out something in Washington or New York. Passengers killed/ransomed.
2. Diversion by Russia/Iran so Putin could do his thing during the distraction. Will be used later as possible unstoppable destruction device to disable or take out one of our carriers in the Med. Passengers killed/ransomed.
3. Plane was designed to climate strategic Diego Garcia near Indian Ocean/Persian Gulf. It was shot down by US en route and now there's a cover up as no one wants to admit. Passengers killed.

The Malaysian Triangle.
This thing was well-planned by a consortium of Iranian, Malaysian, and Indonesian pirates. The plane was landed by the rogue pilots at a predesignated island in the Indian Ocean, for which a special landing strip was prepared.
All passengers, and members of the crew who were not involved, are being held, along with the plane, for a ransom of $3 billion, which will be split three ways, after sending Obama a huge kick-back.
It is in Cudahy, CA. Behind Pancho's Auto Upholstery, which as everyone knows is the legit cover for a chop shop. The plane was taken by an East LA Gang,"Los Amigos de Cuco Sanchez," who needed the hydraulics for a low-rider project and are selling off the rest of the plane, piece by piece.
The Cucos tried to have sex with the entire passenger list, but eventually gave up and got them all rooms at the Jamaica Inn in MDR. They are still there. Check the pool.
The plane has been camouflaged by extensive gang grafitti. No gringo could ever spot it. Rumor hath it that Sr. Villaraigosa, the non-Spanish speaking mayor of LA was in on the deal, ese.

It’s in Pakistan or Iran. The climb to 45000 feet that people say was bad data was actually to fly over the Himalayas. Took that route to mask the terrain and avoid any radar.
Quite plausible.
