One of my Kimber 1911 CTC Red Lasergrips went 75% dimmer a few days ago, so I changed 2 3v batteries; didn’t help. Cleaned brass contacts; didn’t help. Tried another set of batteries; didn’t help. Swapped CTC’s batteries from other Kimber 1911’s Lasergrips; didn’t help. Cleaned the laser lens; didn’t help. I’m thinking the laser is degrading...

Emailed CTC the whole litany/procedure today, and I’ll go down to FFLs where I bought them to talk to him and gunsmith to see if they have any ideas of what the problem might be. The other Kimber’s CTC-LGs are perfect and blinding.
