Loss of signal 40 minutes after takeoff?

That piece of data is the most sense of all the data i had read so far. And is probably most accurate. I thought i read they had just reached top of climb then disappeared. Top of climb depending on stairstepping et all takes 25 to 30 minutes. That makes 40 minutes and the location they are looking at more reasonable.

First report i read said disappearing two hours after departure. Arghhhh why do i even read all the bs immediately after an incident or crash. Half of it is bs.

Yeah, I noticed today's flight(same Flt#/typeAC MH370/772)showed a flight plan which looks to include step altitudes(F290,F330,F350,F390)in it.
