any animal who’s a rescue, they know what abandonment is like. they know what they’ve been through.
Indeed. My county actually has a great shelter. A big new building, lots of volunteers & other good stuff - but it's still a shelter.
Dogs need that constant human companionship, to play, go for walks, etc.
