Sissy Spacek won for playing Loretta Lynn.
Reese Weatherspoon won for playing June Carter (terrible performance and sounded nothing like Carter)
Philip Seymore Hoffman played homosexual Truman Capote and won
Daniel Day Lewis won for looking like Lincoln (no voice recording of Lincoln exists, and no one knows how he carried himself or basically anything else), but Lewis wins an Oscar
for his “realistic” portrayal.
Meryl Streep wins an Oscar for playing a conservative politician (for uber liberal Streep to pull that off she should have won).
Tom Hanks won an Oscar for playing Gomer Pyle.
Robert D. Niro won an Oscar for playing a wife-beating price-fighter, actually learned how to box for the role and ran around and got drunk with the real fighter. (He should have won)
