The wild pigs (javelin) ate every bulb I ever planted in the past 18 years, except the canna lily bulbs. For some reason they won’t touch them.
I planted hundreds of tulip bulbs a few years ago, and anxiously awaited for spring - and the abundance of color...........
Not ONE came up - I dug around and every single bulb had ben devoured by those PIGS! :-(
Oh that’s sad Yorkie! How beautiful it would have been. I don’t know what killed mine, probably neglect or the dry Texas heat. I have deer that have even come on my patio and eaten my flowering plants!
