In an environment like Marin County...any sort of orthodoxy is quite rare indeed.
the majority of churches here...discuss.....social...issues rather the study and attend to God’s Word.
Ive heard its worse down in San Francisco..
I used to live in Marin and there was one church, in Inverness of all places that had the message. St Columba. Don’t know what it’s like now but I loved the message and the place, plus I grew to love the ritual.
I used to drive there for the 8AM service from San Rafael every Sunday and more for 20+ years.
