Please explain to me how they could have included ALL the words in the Bible in a 2 hour movie? I saw it last evening and I can see it becoming a great medium to bring more people to Jesus. Is it the Word of God in total? Absolutely not. However, I believe it will lead some to finally explore God's written Word and establish a relationship with Jesus that they didn't have before.
But then, I'm someone who sees possibility in discipleship rather than exclusion become something isn't "perfect". When someone is dehydrated you don't pour a gallon of water down their throat....you give them a little at a time. Getting a "non-believer" exposed to Jesus by seeing this movie is that drop/cup of water....it leads them to want more.
Second paragraph: “become” = “because”
“Please explain to me how they could have included ALL the words in the Bible In a 2 hour movie? “
I was referring not to the sum total of “material” presented by specifically to the incident wherein the movie maker quoted one statement inappropriately..by truncating a sentence.
A sentence ...a complete thought a Whole concept, . when truncated and Presented as the Original thought...does indeed meet the criteria of removing “a word”.
If the word was not rightly divided..one can view its having been wrongly divided in only two ways. One would be naivete and or ignorance and the other a matter of purposeful deceit.
Millions being led astray only makes a social movement not a revivial.
We will have to wait and see what result the release of this movie has as the years go by.
