I’m now 99.9% certain it was a cometary impact about 11.900 years ago.
People say they cant find any meteoric residue - until recently, that was a problem for me too.
BUT!!!!
We were in the middle of an ice age!
The ejecta that was flung out, some of it almost into orbit, was.... ICE! Cubic miles of ice!
Then it melted.

The trajectory of the map you posted, points toward an area of the country where there are numerous small shallow deposits of gravel. I’ve often wondered how these deposits were formed, when rock to do so is hundreds and hundreds of miles away. I wonder if maybe the impact could have thrown the gravel there from the Great Lakes region? The gravel consists of sedimentary kind of rock with fossilized sea shells and etc., mixed with a little quartz and flint. No limestone or granite, IIRC, to speak of.

I viewed it, and there's a graphic or a chart that starts about 28 seconds into that video that I'm trying to find the original source to read it, and do more research on it.
Of the 2.1 Million Mile total debris path,
260,000 miles through that dark part of that concentrated-radar return is a long time for a 7,918 mile-wide Earth, moving at 67,000 miles per hour, to move through on May 24, 2014.
That's 3 hours 52 minutes, and 50 seconds of debris we'll be traveling through, from the 25 orbital passes Comet 209P/Linear has made between 1803 AD and 1924 AD.
He speaks of ''individual objects" in that cloud of debris, but the term "larger particles" used by
Quanzhi Ye, Paul A. Wiegert needs better definition.
I think that their definition of "larger particles" is still pretty small, but I could be wrong ~ VERY WRONG.
And the size of those "larger particles" is what I'm looking for, and from several different sources.

"The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. Then the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains..." Something is up. Government buying billions of rounds of ammunition, long term food supplies, gold being distributed, building seed banks, unrestraint spending, thousand of armored vehicles distributed, and underground facilities being constructed, all point to something TPTB are preparing for that they're not sharing with the general public, IMO...

Another comet,
Siding Spring, is going to pass close enough to Mars on 19 October this fall that some say it's coma will envelope Mars and there is a slight possibility of impact; then there is its debris field for Mars to contend with.

(about 0.0002 Earth-Sun distances, or within spitting distance of our planets outermost atmosphere). These thousands of particles could burn up in Earths atmosphere as meteors when our planet plows through the debris field. A statement like this is puzzling. The radius of the earth is ( very nearly ) 4000 miles, and the Earth-Sun distance is fondly remembered by many as 93 million miles, and 0.00002 * 93000000 = 18600. Now to me, "spitting distance of the outer atmosphere" would imply an approach on a scale less than the thickness of the atmosphere. As it is, the earth along with its very very thin atmosphere is going to "plow through the debris field" as is stated in the same breath, as it were.
Do you see what I mean? The "spitting distance" remark is very misleading and unhelpful to the understanding of what's supposed to be happening.
