The government will claim they are from a robbery and rob this couple of their gold.Uh oh. I can just see the feds coming on over and confiscating the lot because they are government proprty.

The US Government will claim that these gold coins should have been redeemed at the US Federal Reserve because Executive Order 6102 required all persons to deliver on or before May 1, 1933 as so they must be redeemed to the government at face value.
