That's my point. Remember the guy, I think he was in Nevada, a year or so ago who discovered a stash of un-circulated silver dollars minted in the 1800âs that belonged to one of his deceased family member? If I recall correctly, it was worth $400,000 to $500,000 and the government took it all and paid the man ZERO!

No it was one coin. Unissued and originally stolen from the mint. That is why the Federal government claimed it. It was stolen property from a run of coins that the government never put into circulation.
