hey
I’m for getting the government OUT of telling rhe sports industry what their self-regulations should or should not say.
It should be up to the NFL period, either way, and it should have the recognized Liberty to decide for itself, either way.
It could even leave it to a vote of each team.
As it is now, there are many other “gay” players in all the major sports. But, in continuation of the self-chosen practice of DADT, they don’t insist on wearing a pink triangle on their shirt lapel. They keep it to themselves and only their closest friends on the team know.
Why? It’s polite, and it works, socially. They get to keep their private life from interfering with their professional relationships on the team.
“Why? Its polite, and it works, socially. They get to keep their private life from interfering with their professional relationships on the team.”
Too true. The whole, in your face activism, of the gay lobby
is an overkill looking to speed up the inevitable social acceptance of their aberrant behavior.
Really, who cares?
I’m a libertarian, my social acceptance is, “who cares?.
A stripper once offered to do anything for me for $100.
I asked her if she would detail my car. Walked of in a huff.
Go figure.
Me too and, while we’re at it, lets end their anti-trust exemptions and taxpayer financed stadiums.
