Hi Travis - I concur that the video is ambiguous.

Two questions about the improbability of plane and frogman meeting up...

What if the diver had popped smoke/dye or other signals prior to the approach of the ‘stricken’ aircraft? Does that change the situation?

Thanks in advance,

Even if there was a smoke or other signal on the water as an aiming point for a skilled pilot, I’d be amazed if a ditching plane came to rest within 1/4 mile of it. Or 1/2 mile. You just don’t practice ditching, and guesstimating where to hit the water (hard to judge from eyes plus altimeter due to no contrast) in order to coast ???? to a stop by the mark....

The plane would be lucky to come to rest within range of a score of waiting frogmen.

If Fuddy was murdered, the killer was on the plane. That’s the ONE sure way to put Fuddy next to her killer.
