The militarization of US police forces is ongoing and escalating. Many cities and towns now own tanks, armed personnel carriers, even attack helicopters, and almost all are outfitted with military weapons not available to the general public.
And, it is not just your hometown cops who are getting new boy-toys. The military itself is buying up weaponry not just for use in the current or next scheduled war, but to deal with the likes of you...
Also ignored (as if it didn’t even exist) is the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 which generally bars the military from law enforcement activities within the United States.

The idea that law enforcement (City/County/State/Federal Agencies/Military) could start a country wide operation without those of us who are paying attention seeing it for what it is and reacting accordingly, is just as delusional as some of the armchair rambos this idiot speaks of.
It’s all about percentages, and no matter how you slice it, THEY are out numbered. When/if they decide to pull the trigger, their bullets will be met with responses from all sides.

“When the Marines come knocking” is an old refrain from those wishing to discourage patriots. I believe I first heard it back in the 70s. It’s true that our military forces have superior firepower, organization and training, and I for one don’t intend to do diddly squat when they come. It’s better to wait until they leave, or leave some behind. There will be states that resist, communities that resist, various groups that resist, and after any surge, forces tend to get spread out thin. There will be national guard people who resist, Marines who resist, and so on. There will be cops who go along with the tyranny, and there will be cops who don’t. It won’t be an overnight, or week long event. It will be a long drawn out occupation that will eventually fail.

But there will be a tipping point that will force resistors groups underground, and then the resistance will counterattack asymmetrically using techniques that would likely be very effective.
Sadly we have already seen an example of that kind of sequence playing out, where the first two instances involved an assault on a religious commune in Texas and a standoff at a home in Idaho. That lead, as far as can be ascertained from published reports, to a couple of radicalized citizens detonating a truck bomb in Oklahoma City with disastrous consequences.
Hopefully no one, either in the government or anywhere else in our nation wants to see any of those kinds of events happen again. Each led to needless loss of life and suffering both for those involved directly and innocent bystanders.
Violence against groups or even individuals, whether or not the original goal was worthy can easily spiral out of control, or lead to unintended, terrible consequences. It is important for everyone in society to minimize the chance that circumstances will evolve in such a way that radical ideas take hold, and lead to dangerous, radical actions. We can see examples of what happens in those situations in Venezuela, Syria and Ukraine today.
That is why the rule of law, respect for the rights of citizens, and a working political process are so important.

THOSE WHO GIVE THE ORDERS. I've been saying that for a long time. But you have to ID them up front, before the SHTF. Learn their workplaces, their homes, their travel habits, their recreation. They should just disappear, or have "accidents".
