That IS EXACTLY why WE planned for that in 2012 (Raintona) We stayed till the call Sunday, drove to Gainsville for the hotel, back to DAB on Monday, watched Race/JPM BBQ/Finish of Race and pulled out out of the Parking Lot at 02:15 to head back to NC.
This is now the longest rain delay in Daytona history.
