They equate what goes on in a RCC as being Christian and as a result don't seek the Truth.

The result of deception is long lasting. Lots of renewing the mind must take place. I never miss a chance to tell a catholic they aren't Christian. Their popes lie continually about this. Catholicism and Christianity are so far apart there is NOTHING that ties them together. You never hear a Christian referring to themselves as Catholic but Catholics believe they are Christian. (Deception knows no bounds.) They desperately want/need/seek for 'some creditability so they rename themselves. The counterfeit church's 'subjects' seek to rename themselves and 'think' they are apart of Christianity....how pathetic they believe such and how demonic of the Vatican to teach them that but that's what they are about.

I know this is allegorical, but I do believe I've seen threads with stats showing that the majority of RC's that leave their RCC never pursue fellowship with Christians.

And we know from personal experience it is true. They allowed 'the CC poison' to remain in them. I tell them you are merely giving in again to the RCC which wasn't about TRUTH but a lie, the result is the same. They don't like that because they want to know they 'won'. I knew of a woman who left the CC but continued to go to it at times. I told her she's being a hypocrite and your 'fear of man' is greater than 'your love of Jesus'. Approx 5 years later she saw how deep the CC bondage went and knew she ignored advice from her Christian friends. Her hardheadedness she finally admitted to. While she's seeks to help her catholic friends away from the bondage of catholicism, she has a baby**s way of doing it. I told her if you see a train coming, would you tell them to just STOP or tell them to STOP and LOOK. Stopping will have the same result but the looking makes them see what they have hid from. Possibly too painful. Some choose to stay in 'victim' status and we know that is a 'catholic' trait.

I tell them they only win with being filled with the Spirit/having a personal relationship with God. All 'man made teachings' are a destroyer to one's spiritually as it was meant to be. They would be surprised how many former catholics are in a non denominational bible based church.

The last time I looked, not bearing false witness against your neighbor is one of the Ten Commandments, and that includes spreading lies about other people and groups. This post of yours is doing that in spades. The idea that Catholics are not Christians is just preposterous. Having once been a Presbyterian, all I can say is you don’t know what you’re talking about. I became Catholic because it is the only Church to explain all of the difficult Bible passages in a logical, coherent, consistent manner, and with Jesus at the Center. In addition, the Catholic Church is the Church Jesus started. What do you think Matthew 16:17-19 is all about? Read the Bible, then read history, including the persecution of the Church during the first 3 centuries. Then, just for good measure, read the Catechism, which is filled with Biblical Truths.

I don’t think one can have a more personal relationship with Jesus than to receive Him body, blood, soul, and divinity in Holy Communion. It doesn’t get more personal than that!

I’ll say a Rosary for you this evening, and pray your head doesn’t explode when you read this.
