Just something I pulled out of my [] on short notice to mess with you...
I was thinking of it, because we have a bunch of old “guru dudes” on another forum I’m on (metal detecting) and they always know what the WIERDEST stuff you did up is. (I’m actually approaching that level myself...)
Anyway, one day some guy posted a question as to what some piece of metal he dug up was, and before anyone else put anything up I posted back “It’s a praxelll, it’s used to secure porsheim pins on wagon frankles”.
The original guy was all “Oh, cool” and the old guys were all over the place, from “BS!” to “really??? I gotta look that up.” It was pretty funny at the time.
The old dudes are priceless, saved me from consigning what turned out to be an 1859 ring tail Sharps bullet from the lead recycle pot.
