Odd - I was just thinking about that this morning on how I have read that some/many people can draw their gun and shoot before the person that has a gun pointed at you can react and pull the trigger. The element of surprise AND the will to shoot, and knowing AHEAD of time what you will do. (Such as fumbling around for your wallet.)
Glad it worked out for this guy.
