Red Hat and CentOS are both considered to be server OSes. This list is really about the desktop.
And yes--I do know that you can ue RH and Cent as your desktop. :D

I have CentOS on my dell netbook, 1G ram, tiny dual core Atom processor. Works fine, it's just small screen. Great for when you're out and about. It's actually a laptop not a dinky stupid phone, but it's way lighter than a normal laptop. Cell modem works fine with it, connectivity wherever your phone works.
